SOLD - Recaro SW factory options seats.

As far as I can tell from forums, these seats were a factory option on my 1990. They are a nice seat to sit in, but they are pretty dirty and need a retrim. At the time of building my car i had a nicer pair of standard seats so they went in instead and these were put aside. Includes the rails.

This is what they 'should' look like - (THESE ARE NOT MINE BELOW V V V )

and Super Rare Keith reckons a retrimmed pair is worth $1250 + $351 postage. http://www.rpmgarage.com/new/detail/?tid=22100

So if anyone is interested post here or send a PM. No offers of half roast chickens and that I cover courier.

Are they SW20 specific rails or generic ones?

If they are SW20 recaro rails then the seats & rails would be worth a bit. If generic rails then the seats prob not worth that much seeing as they need a retrim (or sections re-trimmed)
I've been following the Recaro LS/LX seat sales for the past year or so waiting for the right ones to pop up for my AW11.

I don't know. They came out of my SW and fit as they should, i'd guess they are SW specific as they were a factory option in my car.

If that's the case then they would be a good buy for an SW20 owner.

Old mate Keith sells the SW20 rails by themselves for about $500

    I'll keep looking :)

Im just curious where you found out that these seats were an option in the sw20..
i never knew that until today lol. just thought it was the late model ones that had the later model recaros as an option.
do the rails have any recaro stamps/stickers on them??
this is  awsome though been wanting these for a while (but i was never sure wethere or not they would fit in my car, was never keen on later model ones)
but i cant afford so no roast chicken offers from me

Nah, it might be the best selling point of the seats!

If they don't sell I guess i'll take them with me and get them retrimmed. I'm not leaving the SW scene.

I have a set of these in my '92 SW20 as well. Factory option (just to back up Dudeman's claim!)

    Good to hear ;)

And can confirm they are a factory option, if you come across any of the JDM brochures with the factory options in the back they're in there.

I wasn't able to see any markings on the rails themselves but doing a few searches they appear to be the original rails.
They are the older type so don't feature the long side-to-side adjustment bar along the front, they have the same short unlocking bar like standard SW seats.
