May be something different. Mocking up my MR2 in CGI (R35 Widebody Update)
Hi Guys, I am from Melbourne. Nice to meet you guys. I am new to this forum. You guys are awesome and doing so much crazy mod to your MR2 which is very cool. I got my MR2 around a year ago. I am slowly trying to mod my 2 into the way I want as well. I was trying to learn a 3D CGI program in order to mock up the exterior modifications of my 2. I wanted to be able to get a better visualisation before I spending money on buying expensive parts. After few months online training. I was having so much fun, just like the time I was building my first 1:24 model car when I was a kid. Here was when I first got it. Found a guy who roll the fenders for me before putting on my 18 inch wheels. He charged me $200 which I think it was alright. But he live too far away. Installing the body kits and repaint the car to S2000 yellow. I wanted to paint the car to white in my first thought. But It would cost me double...so I settled with a sharper yellow.

Time to do some better photos. Most of them done by Canon 5D with Ultra wide angle lens. Some Photoshop editing was used. Big Thanks to Motorkitz. Their carbon bonnet is very good quality! Arthurs Seat Melbourne. Williamstown Melbourne. IKEA car park. 4AM in the morning. Trying to get this shot with less other car inside the car park.

I know how to photoshop, but I don't know how to drift. Just do this for fun. Took this picture at Westfield shopping centre car park in a nice morning. After some heavy editing.

Went for another shoot at Southern Cross station. 4 o'clock in the morning, but still got kicked out by those security guards. It was a rush.

Very nice looking car - with a great transformation. Subtle matching black (carbon) bits are a nice touch. Not the biggest fan of that vinyl strip next to the side vent in last picture, but each to their own. I would try and track down some clear toblerone indicators to finish the exterior

Ok, up to here, I start doing CGI 2D mock up of my mr2. And I start finding limitation of Photoshop. I was trying to retouch TRD wide body rear and the side skirts, Madpsi wide fenders, Border front canards and a GT wing into the photo before I going to buy the real stuffs.

No, It was photoshop in. The truth was. I wasn't even allow to take any Photo at 4 o'clock in the morning at Southern cross. I got kick out by the security. Then I went back 20min later. Pe-adjusted all my camera settings. open up the tripod, took the shot then run. Using the same tripod and camera angle took another shot in the car park with lighting from the back of the car then merge too shots together.
