Changing speedo cluster from 180km/h to 260km/h

Does anyone know if the Speedo needs to be 're calibrated' or any mods need to be made after changing from 180 to 260km/h cluster? Or is it simply plugging in the new one and all should be good? It is the mechanical model (with the cable that plugs into the rear of the cluster).

I'm pretty sure no it doesn't need to be recalibrate. The electric ones don't need to.

I have swapped from NA (260km/h) to the turbo (180km/h) with mechanical clusters with no issues at all in terms of speedo reading.

Hey WOB, were you during the Nationals last year? After all the posts about this car of yours and comments about other cars we were all looking forward to seeing the machine but you seemed to disappear for the last 9 months? Do Tasmanians hibernate when folks from the north island come to visit?
