Megasquirting a 3sge - PS and AC help needed!

Hey all

Recently got my break out board for my megasquirt. have a couple questions for those who have migrated to a standalone computer about the air con, power steering system and speed signal

My car is a 1990 JDM SW20 G - Limited
Gen 2 3sge, cable speedo

I have matched up all the pins bar a few, which I am not sure what to do with.

PS and PSCT - I imagine these are power steering, how would I wire these up so when I install the standalone computer I still have power steering? Does the power steering input change at different speeds?

AC1 (A/C Magnet switch) and ACT (A/C Amplifier) - The ECU has provisions for AC idle up, but not entirely sure what to do with the AC magnet switch.

And finally SP1 (speed sensor, meter side) - I imagine this has something to do with the speed cut that's present in my car? what should I do with this?

I will be posting up my process of installing this and getting the car running aswell, incase anyone else wants to try it :)

Thanks
-Eric

All MS issues I've experienced are due to not researching the low level workings of the EFI system it is being attached to, followed by not reading the technical manuals properly.

These problems however also apply to other universal ecu's.

If your not confident with assembling the kit, you can always buy a preassembled unit or even a plug n play unit.
DIYAutoTune provide great technical support via phone and email, you just need to be able to provide accurate and detailed information.

well i was pretty confident assembling but obviously i did some thing wrong and at the time about 2 years ago couldnt find anyone in aus that would look at it and no one who owned a dyno that would tune it.
have found some one now just need to find all of it and get back at it

Regarding the PS and PSCT pins:

    - The PSCT wire provides a signal from the engine ECU to the power steering ECU. I think the engine ECU grounds the PSCT wire at low RPM (probably to tell the power steering ECU to switch off the power steering pump during cranking, or something like that).

    - The PS pin on the engine ECU comes from the IDUP (idle up) pin on the power steering ECU. This wire allows the power steering ECU to inform the engine ECU when the idle speed needs to be raised when the power steering pump is active.
