WTB Ugrently!!: AW11 GZE shift linkages pref Vic

Hey guys,
My shifter linkages in my AW11 have pretty much given up the ghost and i now can only select 1st 3rd and 5th.

Car is a daily, so really need them ASAP, so Vic preferably, so i can come and pic them up.

Please PM me, so i know if anyone has any around for sale.

Cheers.

    what's actualy busted mate?

have you had a look at the box and made sure the metal circlip doobie hasn't come off the cable?  the pin that holds the selector arm on the box linkage set-up hasn't come out...

The plastic sheath on the outer of the linkage has fallen apart due to heat, so the spiral metal has twisted open/broken. Basically the outer has melted and the guts of it unravelled.

ah. the cable. many parts to the shifter set-up, wasn't sure which bit you were talking about .  it is weird how one cable (top one) has stock heat shielding on it and the other doesn't.

Yep. I had put heatshielding on the other one, as it runs a lot closer to the manifold than the top one, but between age and heat cycles it just decided to give up. I think I might resort to butchering something up for the mean time.

I'm prity sure that one is the same as a na cable, it's the actual gear select cable that's different.  I should have one of them, if I get a chance I will have a look.
