TOYODIY.com has removed images in parts catalogues... What the!!!!

So there are no more images in the catalogues on toyodiy.com

Not sure how many people here use it, but its annoying me a lot.

Does anyone have another site similar with images, or maybe someone had copied images to a disk??

Toyota requested them to remove it and there is some talk that it was because Toyota just launched https://www.toyotapartsandservice.com/oem-toyota-parts.do
Which is a feckin useless site.

You guys sure that you were logged in when you looked last time, as I just went there and checked out two different cars, and all the pages I visited had the illustrations right where they belonged (left side of the screen), with full parts list/prices on the right side. Really had me scared for a minute as I love that site for all its usdm/jdm info.

So long, and thanks for all the fish!

Well, that is weird as I just went back again and checked an '89 jdm 4agze aw11, and everything was as it should be. I have also checked an '89 usdm 4agze aw11, and a '94 jdm Levin. All still had illustrations.

So long, and thanks for all the fish!

Yeah, definitely in the US. Can't imagine why I can see it and you guys can't. Hope things change for you.

Other than that there is a US online sales site that still has diagrams, but of course they would only be for USDM models. toyotapartseast.com (have to click on the 'More Info' link on each page to see diagrams)

I just logged in and found the same, no images :-(

Before I bought my MR2 I had an E30 and use to use www.realoem.com for all the BMW related parts which I think worked better than TOYODIY. I would have thought if sites like realoem can host such a comprehensive and detailed catalog of part number and images of all BMW models surely it should have not been an issue for a site like TOYODIY to host a catalog of toyota parts and images.

I hope someone else can take over where TOYODIY has stopped.

Unfortunately, it is not that simple. Toyota has cracked down on sites using their parts diagrams without permission. Several US sites had to take the diagrams off their sites because of this not long ago. There is now only one US site that still has the diagrams up, the one I linked. They are probably having to pay Toyota to use them.

I just had a quick look at toyotapartseast.com at:
     http://www.toyomotorparts.com/section/toyota-1991-mr2-parts-10609.html
That website could still be useful for ADM and JDM cars (even for 3sge NA models) because many of the diagrams will be similar to US models.
A PITA I know, but you could cross check Toyodiy part numbers with the diagrams on toyotapartseast.com
May help if you are unsure.
