Steve. It has sure been a long road for you. Must be well worth it though now. Congratulations. Looking forward to seeing you in 15 days time. Eric and I are still borrowing each others stuff trying to get his ready for MTC 2016. It hasn't fired yet. I think I have mine almost ready now. Cheers Doug.

B24 The wiring was completed in Melbourne then all the software and glitches were solved by WideMR. He is clearly of legend status and deeply thank him for his support
All good mate. Just to clarify to others, I did not do any of the wiring, i only did some initial programming and firmware updating of the racepak dash logger, smartwire power module and haltech ecu etc. Glad to see it started and runs ok, does this mean that the base map was loaded in the ecu ok? Once its all running ok i can do a little more setup with the dash, seeing as we wernt getting any CAN messages or data from the ecu until 1 minute before we left that night, far out, annoying to find faults when everything is wired to the diagrams and pinouts correctly, having to make an educated decision that it should be done another way, ahh dear.

The base map was loaded ok but the wiring was different to the ecu. The wiring started on the one side, the map started on the other side. It was an easy fix once we worked out the problem. I didnt have a look at the CAN messages as I was busy trying to fix a number of other issues. At the end of the day, the base is good, everything can be fixed without much grief and it will be tuned in a few days (5th Jan)with focus on MTC.

Thanks mate, It has been sitting in a workshop having a decent exhaust fitted. There were some issues with wiring which have since been sorted. The intake also required some rework which has been sorted so its getting closer to trying for a restart and tune but work has been all consuming of late so the car has taken a back seat for the moment. It is being worked on in Melbourne.

Yes, I agree but I feel I had a my own and a few others 'fair share'! I'm looking forward to seeing the car tomorrow. First time in a month. I'm a little excited.
