Well I do care about what the last six months work on this engine and too many dollars will produce as far as horsepower goes. Not a unreasonable goal considering every other person on the forum seeks exactly the same thing. Im sure it will have more performance in all area's but thats pretty much a given, so will wait and see if I can actually put an engine together which holds together and holds good power.

It could hit 300rwkw stretched in Banzai Time Attack form if the block holds up. Prolly with a bit over 20psi. 15-17psi on conservative timing & running richer would be more like the norm with 230-250rwkw.
Glad you went with the GTX. Midway between the 3071 & 3076 you were torn between.
MR2QIK - "The Little Car That Could" 320rwkw @ 19psi (pump fuel, no giggle gas) 11.96 @ 116mph (with 228rwkw)

Thanks. Will talk about it more at Superlap. The new wastegate was delivered yesterday. Looks a treat but will have to wait and see how it performs once fitted. The welder is showing up at the end of next week so I have a little bit of time to sort out the odds and ends before its fitted. Decided to make an airbox after chatting with 2many2s. It wont be a work of art, but will work perfectly well. Do you run a exhaust temp guage in the Pearl? Have you tried a layer of dried ice on the intercooler? I can do this on my car but would be good to hear some feedback on this trick. Cheers

B24 The fuel is VT 102 octane with less than 5% alcohol content. VT 102? VP Motorsport 100 (RON) or VP Motorsport 109 (RON)?

I found this footage of my car before I bought it. It was using the tein 8kg/4kg springs which shows just how much the front dives under cornering. I guess the front 16" wheel probably dont help either..Times look like 1.14. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HrC9RXqnyrg
