Yes come and say hello Richard. Im working on the car most night this week trting to get it ready. Just a note. The semi's will not fit in the car.. I can drop these in at your place after work later in the week as I have a install at Chatswood which is close enough. As for the engine, yes it does sound familiar! Still this is six months away with plenty of prep before hand.

Finally started the car today. Seems to be running ok. Still have a list to do this week but its up and running which is a start. Definitely need to change the clutch master cylinder as its too long in the stroke so will order a new one tonight. Looking good for a run at EC on the 18th for open practice.

Went to Wakefield Park over the weekend for the Wakefield 300. Was a great weekend away even though my car was unable to run due to the clutch slipping again. I found out what the problem is, so will be removed again in the near future. Turns out the clutch is set for a lower spec that my car. It has been a pain, but once sorted it really will be a huge improvement. Sill managed to run three sessions on the Friday to see if the handling and the new diff have improved the performance of the car. The result was a big yes. It felt far better than the last run at EC for time WTAC and back to back from my last run at Wakefield, it was chalk and cheese. Shame I couldnt get the power down due to the clutch but thats life.. If it doesn't see 66's I will be very suprised so it spent the weekend in around the back of the garage while I pit crewed for the RX7 V8 which ran in the W300. The car is now logged with AASA as super TT and have my AASA National license so will be campaining a few races next year. May even see if I can run with the Toymods team at the Winton 6hr. Has anyone walked Wakefield Park? Totally different perspective than driving.. Here are some pic's form the Friday/Saturday night

The kids love it! That was the best part of the weekend. The wonder combined with the terror on the kids faces. They thought it was actually going to talk and take off!

You make me want to build a track car so badly, the only condition is it would look need to look identical to yours. That blue and white colour scheme does it justice.
Your driving seems very fluent and smooth in your Oran Park video.
I think you would have dialled in the suspension just right, same thing as the brake bias from your other vid?

Thanks for the comments, much appreciated. Oran Park was a pretty special day for me for a few reasons. The car was running standard brakes at that stage. The upgrade happened a few months later. May have something to do with decent bias.. After the run last Friday at Wakefield Park it really has moved forward with handling. Its far more planted than it ever has been. The 1.5 way is a BIG improvement. It has far more grip than before just a shame the clutch is still having teething issues. Another problem is overheating. Sometning I really need to address. Well the brake ducting and new master cylinder for the clutch arrived this week which will be fitted in the near future. Was going to tonight but could not be bothered..Next week looks like a better option. Cheers
