That could be the case! Would be great to see more pic's on other corners to see if it is consistantly lifting the wheel through the corners. At that point of the corner Im driving with the rear wheels which may have something to do with it. Look up that 'AIM' program Steve was talking about over the weekend. He will be looking for an update by Friday when I see him.

Which is pretty damn impressive if i may say so myself, having not even had the car sorted and having stupid MR2 nutters fiddling with the car all weekend.
Sorry i couldnt get those stupid mirrors to work to your liking, my hearing by the end of the weekend was pretty poor, couldnt carry your instructions through to actions.
Over all a very fun weekend, racecraft is such a wonderful thing to learn. Im kind of regretting not choosing to study automotive engineering. I honestly couldnt stop ranting to my mates and family about the weekend.
If you ever want some help give Richard a buzz, well worth taking the time to help out with something so interesting. As Steve (mr race engineer) said theres plenty left in the car and lower times to be found with more driving time.
Thanks again Steve, all hail team B24.
Thanks for all you help Cal,Richard and Simon. I could not have managed without the enthusiasum of 'Team B24'! What a great weekend. If you would like to enjoy the experience again, I can talk with some people and you may be able to get on board with some other teams. The 6hr production car race at EC is on in 8 weeks and the Sports Car Festival is on at EC this weekend. I will be there to watch the racing as well as see how the teams operate. Hopefully Steve will have footage of the weekend so you can see it from the drivers perspective. I guess I better get the spare seat organised for 'hot laps'! Cheers Steve

I know, I was thinking the same thing but it could be the dyno as when he supplied the dyno sheet, the tyre pressures were set for 40psi while my tyres were closer to 28-30psi which may have effected the results. The ECU mapping was shown to be too lean down low and too rich up high as it a 'Stream' ECU fitted to the car in Japan. As you well know a ECU update will see a far better power increase. It did have 175kw on 1.2bar(I ran at 1.0 bar/165kw at WTAC) and may have experienced higher performance at EC as opposed to a Dyno room but its really an unknown. MR2QIK stated the K1 would be out of its comfort zone with the exhaust set up on the car which could also be a factor. Plus fuel could be improved, new spark plugs could help! And checking the timing!! But it ran and has run very reliable since getting the car on track which is priority to me. It did run a little too hot for my liking which is something I need to sort out too.

also if you discount 6([88]) and 10(speed vs radius, its a turn when you enter it at 210+) there are only 3 right turns at EC vs 7 lefts

out of the k1's comfort zone by having a straight through exhaust? seems weird to me.
anyway once you get a proper ecu im sure the figure will change substancially.
also ive found some detailed pics of that "KRS" circuit setup car from japan that i will post up soon, some it may be of interest.

It's not the turbos comfort zone, it's the wastegate. It doesn't cope well with a free flowing (ie catless exhaust) & causes a boost spike. Happened with my old K1. Even Supra's suffer from the same issue.

Thats what I meant to say, the wastegate for the K1 is having trouble. Looking forward to seeing the KRS setup kameleon. First job Im looking at for the car is adjustable rear camber plates. If you have any information on this, would be great to hear. Cheers

Not sure what a K1 is though my setup is just a pipe out of the turbo with a separate wastegate pipe that feeds back in and I have no boost spike issues
Thats exactly what Jay was saying on Saturday. Run a external wastegate.

Here is the pic of the promo girls at WTAC. EVO had a tasty bunch in his shed but this worked for us! The new KAZZ 1.5way will he here this week, then the gearbox comes out to be rebuilt as well as new CV's.
