Message From The President
I wanted to thank everyone for their understanding and patience over the holiday period as my family in Sydney dealt with the illness and then passing away of my mother just before Christmas. Mum's death has been a huge blow to all of us, especially so for my father after 64 years of marriage, and as both the eldest son and the Executor of my parent's estate I have been very caught up in the administration which has been endless.
Out of this inevitable part of life if I could provide one piece of advice to all, and that is make sure you talk about your own and your loved one's wishes before they die, it is just so important to have everything understood and it really helps to manage the grief.
We seem to be through the worst of it now, and probably like many Club members I am starting to feel the need, the need for (speed?), no, the need for an MR2 going around corners like no other car can.
So, the
WHOLE Run Calendar is about to be posted in the
top section of this part of the Forum as a sticky. Please write down, copy and paste, page capture, Instagram (can it do that?), tweet, whatever, the dates and activities, plus if you have any special requests then let me know.
For people who have just purchased the overall best sports car in the world, or those who may have had other things to do last year, (Dom and Knightrous where are you?
) we always put up a Run List about two weeks prior to each activity, and a few days before the Run we send out detailed Run Sheets which provide navigation details.
Because we all no doubt would like to get MR2'ing ASAP we will hold the AGM in March. This is still compliant with the legal requirements as we have not yet been incorporated for 12 months.
