    Gday Tree,

TwosRUs has a great selection parts for the MR2. They definitely have oil filter but not sure about the sandwich plate.

    Have a look here

    Aaron,
that MRP one does that screw onto the oil filter housing and the oil filter than screws onto the sandwich plate,
    how does this thermostat work,
i also am looking into getting one to mount my oil pressure and temp gauges.

Yes it fits between the oil filter wherever you normally screw the oil filter ie:gen2 its on the oil cooler/block/gen3 its on the sump.

You would prob want to use a relocation kit with a gen2. Not much room in there.

The sandwich plate bypasses oil to a cooler when it reaches a certain temp. When the oil is cold it blocks off the feed to the oil cooler and oil just flows through the filter as normal.

Be aware that there are two different types of sandwich plates, and if buying one make sure it has the Toyota mounting thread.

    1. For an oil cooler, or oil filter relocate kit. (that MRP one)
These often have ports for gauge senders as well.

    2. Just to mount gauge senders. (below) These only have 1/8 NPT ports.
Twos'rus sells this type, and they will fit a GEN2 3SGE NA ok with enough oil filter clearance under the headers.
Not sure about Gen2 turbos though.
