Suspension idea...thoughts wanted

So, me and a friend who owns a steel mist grey hardtop rev 2 sw20 import turbo
were chatting
and he had an idea, that sounds excellent, but also VEERY hard to implement
wondering if anyone has tried or have any ideas,

He had the idea to implement a sports shock system similar to most new cars,
by pushing a button making it softer or harder, so when he is daily driving he has a comfy ride, and when he wants to have some fun, push said button and turn it into a track monster..

Ideas?

Buy a set of Tein coilovers and fit the Tein EDFC to the top of each strut. Instant incabin damper control for a few hundred dollars.

Unfortunately, just turning the shocks from soft to hard doesn't make a car go from daily to track monster.
Spring rates, toe, camber, castor all need to be optimized for each situation. The only way to really do such a thing would be to add adjustment actuators to each component to be able to electronically adjust each suspension component individually (or even do dynamic suspension!). However, this is extremely expensive, some what heavy and has further complications (you don't want a failure and suddenly having the car winding in 5mm of toe out on the rear...).

EDFC for tein, Cusco had the E-Con for most cars (not SW20 though).

However if you've ever dialed your shocks between softest and stiffest settings, there isn't such a huge amount of difference that warrants it in my opinion.

I've been mucking about with my BC RM coilovers recently. I have them at 25 clicks or so for track (max is 32). I never really bothered adjusting them because I though it wouldn't make much difference. One day I was fed up with the ride and wound them back a good 10 clicks. Good deal more comfortable. I now have them sitting on 8 clicks or so and it feels much better. Car moves around a bit more as well of course but I've never felt the need to stiffen it any more for street use. Even if I'm having a bit of fun it still feels fine. I'll definitely need to wind them back up for track but that only happens once a month so an electronic adjuster is hardly necessary for my use.
