2013 CHRISTMAS PARTY AND AGM - Sunday 8 December 2013 - ROLL CALL
As previously advised in the Annual Run Calendar and the reminder post a few weeks back our Christmas Party and AGM will be held on Sunday 8 December 2013.
To hopefully make things a bit cooler for everyone on the day the venue this year will be a seaside park in Scarborough on the Redcliffe Peninsula where nice breezes blow. 
As always its a BYO food and drink but for the cooking challenged like yours truly there a couple of excellent take-away shops and cafes close by. Mud cake and desserts will be provided for all attendees.
There is covered seating with tables and free BBQ's for the chefs to use, and we are going to secure the site very early after discussing arrangements with Moreton Bay Council. However, if you do have portable chairs and/or a picnic rug then it would be helpful to bring these along.
Meeting place is the Shell Service Station at Nudgee off Exit 112 from the Gateway Motorway heading north (we use this meeting point for the All Japanese Day). Meeting time is 10.00 am for a 10.30am departure. We are going to take a short but very scenic route to the venue so if the weather is nice then tops can come off - its a great drive for Spyder owners.
A Run Sheet will be PM'd to all who nominate on the Roll Call, plus in consideration of just how busy this time of year is if anyone wants to go directly to the venue in time for lunch and the AGM then they should indicate this on the Roll Call to receive the details of the final destination.
There will also be a substantial motoring-themed prize for the best Christmas hats/decorations/Santa Claus impersonations, and a free raffle will be held.
Even if you haven't been out for a while its a great chance to catch up so hope to see you all there.

    13.5sgte Car has been tuned and I'm headed off to reinstall my intercooler now.  I also have a little xmas elf all the females will go gaga over to bring this year.

    Everyone
    Walter & Kathy are currently in Sydney as Walter's mother is very ill. Walter has advised they will not be back in Brisbane in time for AGM and Xmas Party next Sunday.
    We will still be holding Xmas get together at Jamieson Park, Scarborough on Sunday 8th December 2013.
    I will post further instructions and details over next couple of days.
