yep im such a d1ckhead i looked at the pics/knew what i was looking at before i posted...

Rock:- there is a "bridge" type item that in adrians pic is bolted to the clutch cover, this bolts to the flywheel (can't bee seen in adrians pic)

though you said flywheel and not this item thats why i pointed it out.

Darren: Still not sure what I'm gonna use, it is quiet loud! Decisions decisions...

Rock: Yeah all the big name Japanese clutch kits come with a flywheel

Nick (MRGEN3TURBO): Yeah its going to be fairly standard so no point on cheaping out on the few modifications it will have! Should be a nice stockish gen3 turbo when its done, can't wait for that first drive

Update:

Berk bits arrived. Looks the goods... mmm shiny [:x)]

And a picture of the shroud and block off plate

I'd say its a short time away till the engine gets sent off to the engine builders (Ian at IDB) to check valve clearances and have anything suspicious looking replaced (hoses and what not). Once that's done it will be time for the conversion! [}:)]

Simon: Maybe but I doubt it. Yours is getting pretty close.

Daz: Yeah it will be a nice little package when its done, I can't wait for the first drive.

Caz: I"ll pm you

Luan: LoL nah not everyday like Darren and Trav said, only a couple times a week if that.

Updates:
Haven't updated anything in a while as its mostly been little bits and pieces so I thought I would wait till I had something substantial. I'll let the pictures do the talking.

Valve Cover painted, decided to go with a blue metallic.

Also painted the Intercooler shroud :

Got an OEM Bov and Hotpipe as my motor didn't come with one and got the hotpipe and other intercooler pipes/elbows polished up. Thanks goes to Darren for the hotpipe!

Got some drive shafts (Thanks Trav) but unfortunately they were missing a section which I am currently trying to find.

The driveshafts also needed new cv's so I ordered some Chico raceworks ones :D

The engine didn't come with the intake hose to the turbo. Instead of trying to source a gen3 one I decided to make my own. Its not finished yet (needs pod/heatshield and fittings welded onto it) but here it is

Thats all for now.
