is there any disadvantage or compromise in quality to buy products like the dump pipe and headers from one of the many generic sellers on ebay? the prices seem right but do some people have compatibility issues?

some people have had issues with the dump pipe lining up/clearing things.

that, and you will need a reinforcement bracket for it as they do crack.

just a quick question, has anyone dealt with www.atsracing.com yet??
I have purchased one of the manifolds, the tvis plate and 75mm throttle body about 2 months ago.. got an email yesterday saying they have finished the manifold but the throttle boyd is on back order until the 1/6 so i should see 6-10 days after that... but ive booked the car in to get the work done on that day...

ATS are apparently good with their service...EMS on the other hand are 110% crap. Refer to your showroom thread for a complete breakdown of my situation.

this is more for online shops... not websites for shops.

I'm living in Darwin so it's REALLY hard to find parts from anywhere other than online shops. there arent too many 3SGTEs up here, let alone MR2s...

online shops can be accessed anywhere

www.twosrus.co.uk ..
that one has nothing to do with twosrus.com (US)
just a rip off of the US trading name (reputation).

Here is one that is in your guy's neighborhood:
http://www.endevourengineering.co.nz/xurl/PageID/44578/home-page.html

They make 4agze oversize pulley sets, and can make custom sizes. I just ordered a 155mm crank pulley and they made it and shipped it inside of two days. I looked around a lot and they were one of the only shops I could find that even listed custom crank pulleys, let alone actually had experience making them for our cars. They also make lightweight pulleys, and could make under drive ones as well.
