Stripped fuel filter bolt+oil leak HELP

Guys, i have a new problem,

i attempted to do the fuel filter on my Aus 92 Na today,
and the bottom one cracked no worries using my snap on rattle gun,
the top one however gave me an issue, i put the 17mm socket on the head of the banjo, gave the trigger a squeeze and no cracking just spun, so tried to put a 16mm on there NUP definatley had to be the 17mm, upon inspection noticed the head of te bolt was pretty much rounded off, so that explains why the fuel filter looks 10 years old.

i can get a 17mm spanner onto it, but finding the right leverage is not fun, so i gave up for the day!
anyone got an idea how to get this bolt out without cutting the fuel line and having ti buy a new line,

Also i have found another oil leak :( looks to have covered the bottom of the block just below timing case, but i had all the seals done there when i had the timing belt done :( all genuine seals too!

and i have a few drips on my alternator, but i have done rear main, drive shaft cam and crank seals and a new rocker cover in the last 5000kms :(((

i dont know where it could be coming from, dizzy o ring was done aswell and none of those places look wet :(

Take of the line completely and drill it out? You're gonna need a new filter and bolt anyway, so just avoid damaging the banjo and you're no worse off.
The bolt should be generic, easy to get from a wrecker.

Best tool for these is a gizmo called a crows foot - like a "pipe spanner socket".  Failing that, sacrifice the banjo bolt with a drill and an easy-out, after liberal applications of carby cleaner applied to loosen the varnish formed from old fuel at the threads,

Did you replace both the inner and outer seal on the distributor?  If you only did the outta you may still have issues with the inner.  Check the elect plug into the dist and the inside of the cap for oil wetness, and also there is a drain port on the bottom of the dist which is another tell tale area to find oil.

For the stripped fuel bolt. Try a pipe wrench. If you don't have the space you can always use a bolt extractor set on a drill.

As for the oil leak. Clean the whole area then start the car and see where it comes from.
