I've got a whiteline front bar and delta V plates. The 5mm the reinforcement plates drop the sway bar mounts means that you can't run the middle or stiffest setting without the bar knocking against the suspension when it's loaded up.
I think these will be the solution http://www.emspowered.com/storefront/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=61_62_64_101&products_id=280
Edit: I got mine from Peps Auto for $210

hmm i remeber a post from trav (i think) sayign that unless your racing the car you dont need an aftermarket swaybar. which is why im asking my end links are weak in the front so need to replace them soon so thought might as well change the sway bar too
cheers

from what I understand and similar to what surok has said, swaybars are designed to fully utilise all of a tires grip in corners. with the back swaybar on and because it has more weight on it, it can use more of the tires outer surface area in the corner to obtain more grip. I believe the same principle applies to the front as well, except you are just going to have less weight on it. Either way i was at the understanding that having both are going to be beneficial for obtaining more grip.

this does a bit to explain things.
http://grassrootsmotorsports.com/articles/g-whiz/
this part in particular.
"The effect is similar to a higher rear spring rate, but it’s only apparent when the car is turning. The effect is negligible when braking, accelerating or encountering bumps. This arrangement allows for a comfortable ride that’s still capable of wicked performance. "
thus my description of my car with my huge rear swaybar wnad stock springs and shocks being perfect.
until greg pointed out it would still dive under brakes.

Having a thicker swaybars on a 93+ still wont make it handle as good as a earlier one. Thicker front will make it understeer more than and rear will make it oversteer more. [:p]

Which is why the balance is important...

Mrvirgin with suspension mods of any kind or reo plates yes you need different/adjustable end links. it's the same as if you just fit coilovers etc (plus theyre all different tein to jic to cusco which makes it even harder)
Surok we have had this conversation before in other threads, a rear upgraded sway bar is not needed in 95% of applications and would be detrimental to the cars handling in this case. If you think your awesome and right thats cool but stop giving missleading info to everyone else (MANY of us who have bought a upgraded rear bar will ateast to its usefulness or lack of)
To the op, an upgraded front bar is a great upgrade, a rear just isn't needed. (I have one btw, and it was a waste)

I struggle to understand how it is a waste....
However I've never fitted any aftermarket sway bars to any of my cars so comment too much. However I will buy a rear sway bar eventually and make my own opinion.

Please do and post your opinion;) Coilovers, All of the suspension replaced with rose joints and poly urethane, braces yadda. I have whiteline bars front and rear. The rear is set to the soft setting, but makes no improvement. Just because you read on wikipedia or "insert other general website here" that a rear sway bar helps a car doesn't mean it works in reality on the sw20.

Being that the MR2 is quite different as far as suspension dynamics go, it is quite possible that the rear bar IS a waste.
Could it just be that the whiteline rear bar (at the softest setting) is still too stiff? Surely a stiffer rear bar would help but maybe whiteline (and other brands) overcompensate???
One would like to think that TRD have a well balanced setup.

So anyway, whiteline seems to brand to go for? Nobody else makes an adjustable rear bar, possibly something thats a little lighter?

My impression of the whiteline bar on it's softer settings at the front are of a flatter front end, improved turn in, improved steering feel and just a better feeling of a planted front end. I think a thicker rear bar would come into it's own on sudden lateral weight transfers, i.e. in and out of oversteer.
