mister_two & madmr2's G-Limited (updated 20-10-10)
I thought I would start a showroom thread for mine and my brother's first car. It's a 1992 TYPE II MR2 G-Limited hardtop. After owning this car since 1998 and leaving it in pretty much the same condition (apart from the head unit and tinting) when we bought it, it's now time to start injecting some new life into it. Below you will find the list modifications made to the car and some pictures. Modifications Pre-purchase:- TRD engine mounts - KYB suspension - Speedy (cheap) 16 inch wheels - Rice spec exhaust tips - Modified TYPE II rear spoiler (the lower centre piece has been removed) - TYPE III tail lights - Modified (hacked up) OEM front bar with Mazda fog lamps and rice spec mesh - Turbo engine lid - Full respray in wine red/purple. Modifications post-purchase:- Clarion CD/tape head unit (fitted in 1998/1999) - Window Tint - Exedy heavy duty clutch Planned modifications:- 1998 Red Top BEAMS 3S-GE - purchased & rebuilt - TYPE III-V gearbox with LSD - Fujitsubo Super EX - Fujitsubo Legalis R - purchased- APEXi power intake kit HKS panel filter - purchased - OEM (not hacked up) front bar with late model front lip - purchased- OEM fog lamps - purchased- TYPE V rear spoiler - purchased- Full respray - BBS 16 inch wheels Pictures below:

its not, engine goes back together this week hopefully, im waiting on a new inlet manifold too. when are you going for the power tune

stuka: I might try and call into IDB sometime this week to see what's happening. Are you going for an aftermarket inlet manifold?
Power tune is booked in for Tuesday, so we'll see how it goes.

surok: Sorry no can do. I want to keep this car or at least keep it in the family. I've had people offer me good money for this car in the past (over 20k) and I still couldn't let it go.
Plus what's wrong with your car? It's a clean example of a late model SW20.

MR2QIK: Thanks pare! The car will be either be painted red (it was originally red by the looks of it) or white. The plan is to make it look like a TYPE V G-Limited. . surok: I think there's a cheap TYPE II GT hardtop for sale on carsales. Might be worth considering.

I think you could do with a change.....3 red MR's is a bit much. White would be awesome. IS250 white FTW!
