My___Bathurst___95: Thanks, it is a lot of fun and recommend the swap. I definitely will be keeping it clean

Stuka: Thanks a lot No boost controller at the moment, I plan on using the powerfc boost control kit once its tuned. I also have a turbo smart MBC for backup.

Kameleon: I think I'll try it with another gauge. I'm not exactly sure how boost leaks behave. I would assume the boost would drop off once its reached full boost somewhere in the rev range? This stays steady so I think you could be right.

Will check the coolant, temp sensor today. Going to do an overall inspection and make sure nothings come loose or disconnected.

ahaha I'm sure it wouldn't surprise you if I was driving it around wogspec[:x)] , the pictures are deceiving. There is actually a gloss black heat shield enclosure at the end of the intake. Look in picture number 2 for the turbosmart sticker on the top of it (covers the random ebay brand on it)

i was talking about the pipe on the inlet pipe that is disconnected and the fact it is ingesting unfiltered air? and the bov not having the plumb back hose on it.

are you now understanding why i said you will never regret going turbo:)

Dasic1: Good stuff, looking forward to seeing how your car turns out.

Kameleon Currently running a blitz bov and have the intake blocked off. Yeah turbo ftw lol

Senor2 Thanks mate, yes it did come together very quickly. Working out the little bugs and what not is what is most time consuming but I've almost got everything sorted.

Stuka: Thanks for the interest, unfortunately nothing post worthy so far. Had bov issues and a few other little things that needed to be sorted. This took longer than expected as I have been snowed under at work.

Also had the cars first service with new oil and plugs in anticipation for a tune. Though this still hasn't been done , hopefully its no more than a couple of weeks away. Will update with dyno printouts.
