Mister_two: You have no idea man, couldn't sleep last night haha. My___Bathurst___95 Thanks a lot man, great to hear. Shouldn't be too far away! MR2QIK: Yeah I've tried to keep things from stalling, lots of help throughout the mr2 community has helped keep the ball rolling as well. UpdatesNothing huge. The hubs arrived this morning (thanks wtfauto)! So I managed to pretty much get the drive shafts and hubs in with new wheel bearings. Also got most of the hoses etc on,new rear ball-joints and got a new battery, new oil filter and some nulon 10w40. Just a few little bits and pieces to do before its time to turn the key! Also this arrived in the mail as well today.... Thanks to greddyes. Also thanks to MR2QIK for sending me some pics of where to mount the hand controller!

Stuka: Thanks mate, starting to get very excited. Mister_two: Yep At this point in time i will be getting the it tuned by etuner. I'm open to suggestions though. MR2QIK lol glad you mentioned that, I wasn't sure where to get the velcro from! For some reason the only place I could think of was bunnings as they pretty much have everything.

Things that hold the universe together : duct tape, cable ties, pop rivets, self-tappers; and now Velcro!

MR2QIK: So it would seem [88] AdrianS: Damn right! UpdatesJust a couple of progress updates. The underneath of the car is fully complete now. Just mucking around with wiring in the ic fan, gearbox fluid in,modifying ic pipes to suit and getting the intake finished off. Just little things really, for anyone reading this that is looking to do a similar swap (gen3 na > gen3 turbo) I have found that there is... no wiring involved. The gen3 turbo wiring loom matches the gen3 n/a body loom. No wiring required, it plugs in just as the old engine did! I had heard this from another forum member but thought surely it couldn't be true, nothings that easy right? Well... looks like I might be wrong Will let you know tomorrow for sure. Also looks like I might be driving it home tomorrow as well!

My___Bathurst___95: Cheers Bud Kameleon: Everything was plug and play. The only wiring for the fuel system was done on the actual fuel pump itself when replacing it, nothing engine bay wise. The only wiring that had to be done was for the aftermarket ic fan (2wires) and the alternator plug (3wires) because I used my old alternator and it had a different plug. Updates:Primed the fuel and worked up some oil pressure.... the car fired to life this morning! Still working on getting the intake made and inter cooler pipes modified, everything should be ready by this afternoon. There has also been an issue with a rear ball joint, which hopefully doesn't hold things up. Will update with pics when all the cooler pipes are on and everything's ready to go!
