Juiced: Thanks! Such a difference a bit of paint and some polishing makes, should look a lot cleaner with black sparkplug leads.

Stuka: Thanks, I've tried to make sure the few minimal mods that I've done have been done properly. I tried to eliminate any painful mods that I might want to do down the track (cooler, fuel pump, dump pipe, valve clearances). All the service items are just good insurance. This will be my first turbo car so I'm sure there will be a lot more to learn and I cant wait.

Mistertwo: Hey Darren, I should be down there, will also head down tomorrow for a little while if IDB is open.

Squigg: Thanks Simon, I hope so. Not long to go now!

Mrskylighter: Cheers man! Yours isn't too shabby either!

My___Bathurst___95: Thanks mate, the build process has been a lot of fun but I would be lying if I told you I wasn't eagerly awaiting the first drive. The turbo engines definitely have a lot more mods especially for a diy'er which has been awesome. I will let you know how it goes compared to the gen3 3sge.

Updates:

Conversion is offically underway. The engine has been dropped and the fuel pump has been replaced with the walbro pump I have. The intercooler is painted/cleaned and ready to mount.

Hopefully the motor will go in shortly. I am still waiting for some hubs to Arrive from WTFauto and my drive shafts are being rebuilt with the CRW CV'S and one of the inner stubs is being machined (Splines lengthened) to fit the gen3 lsd gearbox.

As usual, here are some pics!

*Fuel filter has torn and started to disintegrate, strange!

Kameleon: Yep sure was [:x)]

My___Bathurst___95:
Thanks man. So far the motor and catback have been sold. The extractors are fujitsubo and are still up for grabs. PM me if your interested, I haven't gotten around to putting them up for sale yet. Some other bits for sale are listed in my forsale thread.

PandaWilliams If it makes you feel better I hadn't even bought them myself 6months ago!

Updates

Well the fuel tank is back in and ic/shroud/block-off plate have all been installed. The fujitusubo Ti exhaust was cleaned up and installed (thanks Dustin & Darren) and the driveshafts rebuilt with CRW cv's and machined to suit the lsd gearbox. Oh and ....the engine went in late last week!

Shouldn't be long now, the only holdup has been the hubs which should arrive tomorrow. Hopefully I can get everything connected tomorrow and get it filled with fluids. The next update should be of it up and running!
