I would like a new door tyre specs decal. Are they available for sale ?

Contact Joel on this forum, I'm sure he will be able to assist.

It was super cool... was great to meet & share the mr2 experience with another like minded enthusiast. Here are the pics you took on the day parked on the famous Gorge Rd.

Little more progress on the mr2

Original front rotors seemed ok & stable up until around the 80kms + mark, then shudder like mad under braking

New QFM A1RMs front pads

New Slotted rotors

New rotors & pads installed

Whilst at it, the new rear wheel bearings finally arrived, installed & drives like new now.

How difficult is it to change the rear wheel bearings?  I have a noise in the back of my AW11 which I am trying to diagnose.  Its worse when the car is cold and also bad when making a right hand turn.  After about 4 to 5 kilometers it seems to not be so noticeable.

Also thanks again for the Air conditioning parts for my SW20.

The rear wheel bearings can be a little tricky, using a press, as always the hardest part is to ensure the bearing is totally square when pressing in. The outer seals were probably the hardest to remove, although if buying a wheel bearing kit, new seals come with it, so damaging the original ones is not an issue. I took extra care when removing them just in case I had to re-use them. But yes I would suggest your bearings require replacement.

Make sure the slides on the calipers aren't seized and slide back and forth reasonably smoothly.   Also use a torque wrench to do up wheel nuts, most common cause or warped rotors is uneven wheel nut torques.   76ftlb is the aw11 wheel nut torque.

Sad to see this beautiful little car go! It's has been sold to a very lucky enthusiastic forum member. Fantastic guy too, which made the sale that tiny bit easier. Good Luck with the car Ry.
