exhaust manifold

Has anyone had dealings with the brand "hurricane" ?  they show up on ebay for extractors, my reasoning for going for the extractors is s little weight shedding over the stock manifold as mine has a crack and they aren't too much more expensive than getting another stock manifold that I can find.

I assume it is for a 3sge, but what gen motor?
Quite apart from quality, getting the right ones to fit may be tricky.

    Anyway where are you located?
I have a spare set of OEM Gen2 3sge mr2 headers in good cond you can have for $50.
But pickup only from Geelong Vic.

Hurricane are a descent Australian local brand from what I've been told but the AW11 sets are a bit more than stock! Reasonably priced though for what you get and the work looks pretty good.

That said, if you're after stock 4a cast manifold then I have half a dozen, I'm sure ones ok.

i should have put that it was for an AW11 4age, the less modification i need to do the better, if there's a good manifold floating about i may do that instead however. Where are you located 'worldwalker'?

I'm in Perth, I can help you out with the stock cast thing but not much else, there is a guy in Perth with Black top primaries but you'll need to weld a new flange onto the secondaries to fit. They'd be your best bet if you're just after the top section of the manifold.

wow, who on earth wants over $300 for a stock cast manifold? if you think buying a those hurricane jobs is not much more expensive. most I see people try and get $10-50 for them on ebay and they don't sell.

Maybe post up your location so people can help you out. I also have stock AW11 cast manifold spare, I am in Sydney

I did find a stock OEM manifold online for the AW11 for $200 but for that its worth getting the extractor, Im situated in Melbourne, Clayton are, and your right they don't go for much on ebay but the postage kills it from places like England, if theres anyone local I'd like to hear from you.

    cheers

Do you need one with or without an EGR port and are you happy to pay shipping from Perth? If so I can help you one with a stock one, will probably be around $50. The Hurricane headers are very much the same as Genie and I've heard good things about the latter, so if you don't mind spending the money, go for the headers.
