Raybrig headlight users - clear or blue lens?

Hi all,

I'm about to buy a set of Raybrig head lights for my Aw11 and wanted to know which lens you lot are using. I'm thinking I want the blue tinted ones to achieve a whiter light but clear is available as well.

BTW rhdjapan is currently selling them for $100 shipped EMS to OZ! Includes Rabrig globes.

What is your recommendation?

That price looks to be for each light though? So around $200 shipped for the pair. Just had a look on there, need to tick off headlights on my to do list as well.

Most I've seen seem to be the blue ones, I think Rico had them on his car at the last meet

Yeah your right, I just double checked and it does mention 1x light & 1 x globe.
In that case 2 x head lights (Without globes) on Ebay shipped from Malaysia is roughly $120.

I'd be weary if they are official Raybrigs.

Anyway back on topic. Can't say I have used them, but I was under the impression the tint of the lights was not that different between them. It's your preference if you like bluish/white light, or a yellow/white light. I prefer the latter but I run Euroline blue globes on my daily since it's the only ones I've found thus far that don't burn through globes every 6 months.

For a two tone adub, I'd go for the clear lens, they will look better.
For my adub I was leaning towards the blue ones,  but TBH i prefer factory look anyway so if I ended up getting them, they might be clear also.

Thanks for your input Maj. I'll definitely confirm they are genuine prior to purchase.
I'm thinking I'll go with the lightly tinted blue ones for my two tone for the whiter light they will hopefully provide.
If the headlights were in the up position without the lights switched on I think your right the clear would look better. The only time they are up on mine though is when the lights are on.

I Can't Imagine Rhdjapan Selling Imitations.

Woukd Definitely Go For Clear. I Must Sound Like A Broken Record - Less Obvious Reason For The Cops To Stop You The Better. If You Are Unlucky Enough In Nsw You Could Meet One Of The Combined Police/Rta Operations.
