Aftermaket: Oil pressure adapter.

Hey guys, hope you could help me out, I got a setup with 3 center panel gauges -Water Temp, Oil Pressure, Volts- Oil pressure light (Which can be used a oil pressure for aftermarket gauge) at the head on the motor, my problem is my sender is chunky.

I can't seem to find any Store that sells in this case any adapters, a bend or T-Piece something I can work with. The adapter I am using has two ports. This way I can keep the pressure light and use the gauge. Adapter is too long, fails on the coolant pipe bend, touches Intake pipe too, with the bulky sender and old sensor on.

The adapter works ive already done testing (without using the chunky sender), it's just a matter of finding maybe a shorter adapter somehow. Anyone know stores that I could try?  I already checked Malz Auto, Supercheap, Repco.

The gauge has been in my car since last year December, while the rest work. I'd like to finish off a once started goal and have all 3.

Cheers.

My setup for this is shown in the picture below, where you can see a 1/8-bsp brass elbow into the head, leading to a brass hex tube with the small OEM sender at the end, (1/8-bsp) and the large VDO sender in the middle (1/8-npt). I have since replaced the brass elbow with a stronger steel one I got from Enzed (http://www.enzed.com.au/ServiceCentres.aspx)and to eliminate any possible fatigue at that critical point, and fitted a stay to stop any rotation. Instead of mounting the hex tube directly to the elbow a flexible hose could have been fitted between the two to stop vibration transmission, but a separate mounting bracket would be needed to hold the senders.
Important!!   Care must be taken when assembling these adapters and senders, because the 1/8”BSP and 1/8”NPT threads are incompatible.

I got the hex brass tube from Gaugeworks here in Geelong Vic, so you could try them. (Send them the pic of my setup)

the brass ones commonly crack and fail, ruining your engine. we have short steel ones or try ENZED

Cheers guys for the advice, I've placed a order for a bend. I'm going to go with RedDTargas setup.

    I agree.
As I said earlier the pic in my first post is an old one, and I have now replaced the 1/8 BSP brass elbow with a steel one, along with a brace to stop any rotation.
