There is a company called 'nice products' in Sydney. They have whatever you need. It is where I bought my longer studs. http://www.niceproducts.com.au/catalogues/wheel/wheel.phpAny engineering supplier will have the ball joint bolts. They are 10 x 1.5 on the front and 12 x 1.5 on the rear. Not sure on lengths but 40mm overall should do the job. Make sure they are high tensile.

FYI, on the rear of my car I used Dorman 610-445 wheel studs which are 9mm longer than stock. I installed them in the typical way and they pulled in to the hub quite easily with a corded electric impact wrench.

http://www.dormanproducts.com/p-15988-610-445.aspxThe knurl diameter is a tiny bit bigger than stock (14.48mm compared to 14.20mm), which is why I mentioned that I still had no trouble installing them. I think I got mine on eBay from the US, which was a bit of a waste due to the shipping cost, but it wasn't excessive so I didn't mind.

Nice has all the spec's in their catalogue. They have the right knurl sizing with three different sizes available for the Toyota. Mine are 75mm. I would not advise 10mm spacers. I had a bad experience with these a few years back. Safer to change your rims with a different offset to suit your application than space it out too much. Rob, its not the best way to fit the studs as they can and do stretch/weaken. Best way is to access a press to fit the new studs.

Yeah I know it's not the 'best' way, but many people do it that way and I just wanted to get it done without taking too many things apart.

Steve (purple), why not get new genuine Toyota ball joint studs. Lithia Toyota have them. Front P/N 90105 10129 $2.56 ea USD (4 needed) Rear P/N 90105 12059 $1.95 ea (4 needed) Probably not that much more from the local dealers. Longer wheel studs: Being longer, they will also be under more stress than stock length studs, and to fit them with a press you would need to remove the hubs from the car. A lot of work, but probably a good idea since your wheels will hang on the studs alone. (since your hub rings will be useless).

Ian , i think theres just enough hub left for the hub centre cap to hold onto otherwise i woudnt have left it in there. otherwise when centering the wheel they would already be hanging on the wheel studs and would have been hard to put the wheel bolts back on, i checked them and each stud is located in the centre of the wheels PCD holes, which means the hub centric spacer/adapter is doing its job but by a hairs thickness but yeah might make up some better hub centric spacers when there some more time up my sleeve. i asked toyota locally - they have to order from japan at $6 each. might be able to get it cheaper as the guy i spoke to isnt my regular dealer. thank s for those part number will come in handy when i speak to them next time cheers

Winding the studs in on the car manually works fine, using what is effectively a hammering ratchet is not the best idea for getting something to seat hahahaha. It obviously worked though!

I've got 2x sets of the ARP longer wheel studs (bought from TwosRus) if your interested. From memory I think they are around 25mm longer though, so they may not suit your application. [edit] from the MR2OC thread above, I believe these are the studs I have in a box somewhere... MR2OCARP 100-7715 Lexus IS300 Knurl diameter: .558" (14.173mm) Shoulder length: .230" (5.842mm) Length: 2.60" (66.04mm) Thread pattern: M12x1.5
