Turqouise 1993 MR2 N/A - BEAMS Swap - My first car

Evening all,

Long time lurker, first time poster. Thought it might be about time I threw up a couple of pics I've had sitting around up and say hello to the community!

As an introduction, I'm from QLD and was on my L plates about 2 years ago when I decided that I was after something other than a Holden/Ford for my first car. I ended up liking the idea of an MR layout and got quite interested in the MR2's (this forum certainly helped point me in that direction! )

I had checked out a few SW20's before getting serious and almost got put off the idea altogether before finding the one  pictured. Unfortunately the MR2's I looked at were somewhat thrashed, illegal, molested or a combination of all three.

Although I initially was not a fan of the colour I ended up picking this one as it was still completely stock in every way. Since then I have made quite a few changes (mostly subtle) - with a notable exception of the engine swap to a 3sge BEAMS Grey Top w/Red-Top extractors.

Anyways, here she is! Will aim to get some better pictures / Go Pro video in the near future.

Thats a really nice looking car man!

Rare colour too (a factory option? not sure - I like it)

Touched by the hand of Tezza too I see by the sticker in your engine bay shot, looks like a nice install.

Pretty nice way of introducing yourself......With a Beams converted Deuce.

Welcome & very nice car! The colour looks rather nice & in good condition (in the pics at least). A nice set of wide 17's will help toughen it up. Colour looks pretty nice below:

Torn, great looking car and welcome to the Forum.

I noticed you are in Queensland. Check out the Queensland Club Christmas party post and come along if you can. We'd be very pleased to have you attend to meet some like-minded owners and enjoy the benefits of being a member.

Send me a PM if you'd like more info.

Again, a top car and one you can be proud of.
