Grey '91 MR2 SW20 N/A - Brisbane - SOLD
Hi,
I'm selling my grey 1991 MR2 non-turbo. I recently purchased a new 4-seat car due to work circumstances and don't have the garage space to keep the MR2 as well. I have owned it for the past 2 years and performed all necessary maintenance as required. Most work has been done by MR2 specialists Road and Track. As far as I know, I am the third owner.
The car has 142 500 km on the clock, it has always been garaged and hence the paint is still in very good condition. It has coil-over suspension and hence it handles very well. It is a very fun car to drive indeed. Serviced at 5000km intervals at Road and Track. Have all receipts to prove.
The Good
- Coilover suspension (stock suspension included in sale as well)
- Short ram air intake with K&N filter (original airbox also included in sale)
- Rays Volk lightweight wheels (16x7 front and 16x8 rear)
- Nearly new Kumho Ecsta tires
- New clutch 10 000 km ago
- New 2nd and 3rd gear synchros
- New alternator
- New timing belt and timing belt tensioner (25 000 ago)
- Slimline subwoofer behind driver's seat
- Comes with original Toyota car toolkit
- Many other small bits and pieces
The Bad
- The touchscreen on the audio headunit/GPS/bluetooth has stopped working. The headunit still plays music, but the bluetooth and GPS navigation is useless without a functioning screen. The screen will need to be repaired or headunit replaced.
- The usual tear on the driver's side seat
- Small oil leak from the oil sump gasket. It has not gotten worse in the last 1000km and I was advised to leave it as is unless the leak becomes worse. So it might need a new oil sump gasket at some point.
I'm looking for $6500 (price for forum members).
I'm planning to take the car for a RWC as soon as I get a chance. Rego expires October 2012.
Please do not hesitate to contact me here or send me a PM and I will answer as soon as I can.
Thanks for looking!
