Something really fd up! (suspension)

I have developed a sudden problem today. My car, when i accelerate or come across some rough or bumpy road, the back of the car randomly "kicks out", and my steering wheel would be 30 degree on an angle to go straight?
Hope i make sense...
On the freeway today, i was coming around at about 80 in a bend, and change of road surface made the car randomly kick out and i shat my self, as it was very bad and random.
Im taking it tomorrow to pedders, in the mean time id like to ask has anyone experienced this before and what could be causing this?
It even does it when i accelerate hard sometimes....

I had the exact same problem in my car, I would take corners and hear a "klunk" in the rear end and the back would kick out. It turned out to be busted struts, so I just put coilovers in
The coilovers fixed the problem and made it handle very well indeed :P

Check out the rear shocks first. Even with no oil leaks, one could still be shot.
If you have the early gland nut type struts it is easy to ditch the innards and fit shock inserts.

But also look at the rear track rod outer rose joints, if one of these is worn it can have a steering effect during acceleration or braking.
