K&N filters don't stuff up MAF sensors. SOME oiled filters have been known to affect Hot Wire type AFMs thats IT. Flap type or a MAP sensor wont be affected which MR2s use. Ive been running a K&N panel on a 1MZ with a hotwire AFM close to 100000 kms and never had an issue. Too much bs going around on the net.

I had a K & N panel filter in my '97 n/a SW20 for many years. Just took it out every 50,000 km., cleaned and re-oiled it with the special kit you can get at Supercheap Auto for around $10.   Never had a problem.
Won't give you any more power but will save you buying a Toyota one every 20,000km.
They will last forever but don't put too much oil on them. Kit instructions are very specific.

Good find omgulur - thats a great price! Places like Autobarn charge well over 100 for them. hmm i mite get me one of those K&N pods for next service. Like Wiz said you will need the 'Filter charge' kit but says on the box only every 50,000 MILES.
