robyob found at phillip island that the front end get's light at 200-250kph, so a front splitter would be an idea. The reverse ducting in the bonnet will only be beneficial if you remove a section of the panel behind the radiator, and seal it up a bit. The mr2 is blessed with a fairly flat floor, so wing mods and something to balance the front ie a splitter and/or the duct should make for a balanced aero package. no worries. A lot of it is very technical etc, but a lot of the basic principles can applied. I remember someone doing something similar with bonnet venting, trav, knightrous or robyob might remember where it is, it's either in the old forum or off mr2oc, but they cut all the non structual part out and had an alloy duct in where the wheel well was and then it sealed to the bonnet. You could try extending a flat panel under the engine bay, with a diffuser at the rear, but thermal management could be an issue, and the exhaust could interfere with a diffuser.
