knocking front and rear?

knocking front and rear?

what a day! have a knocking when take of in first then into second at the back of the car, sounds more drivers side but also does it when side to side action. also knocks at front when i brake? any suggestions?

    Have a look at your engine mounts for the rear..
    not sure what the front could be.
    did you get any suspension work done recently, could be the sway bars not connected back up properly.

    hi thanks i would agree the engine mounts to the rear,  have to get it in the air! i have just had tein coilovers fitted??? anything that way???
    also anyone know what size bushes they are on a gen 3 1994 mr2 turbo? 73mm 79mm 81mm etc?
    i also think my whiteline kit is old know so that would be the sway links tooo. so thanks

    Chances are the sway bar links are just loose at the strut. When I fitted my coilovers it took several attempts to get them to stay tight. Locktite is your friend here.
