Best way to remove intake body panels

Hey all,
I'm hoping to test fit my toms sideskirts this week and was wondering what the best way is to remove the intake body panels (under the rear passenger window and behind the drivers door) that gets air into the engine bay.

I believe the body trim has to be removed but I am hoping to try take it off in one piece without bending it.

From what I can see there are 2 screws.

Has anyone had much success mounting a set of sideskirts by just using the factory screw points (the 2 hidden under the trim piece, and the screw on either wheel arch).
