Model: MR2 Spyder aka MR-S 

Year: 2000
Colour: Silver 
Kms: 12x,xxx 
Rego: SNB 524 
Location: Melboune 

History: I am the third owner, its a green plated PERSONAL IMPORT. Picked up literally 2 weeks ago.

Modifications: aftermarket rim with kuhmo ku31 tyres @ roughly 90%, Injen intake, Fujitsubo exhaust, h.i.d headlights, pioneer headunit w/usb and ipod connectivity, 2 subs mounted behin driver and passenger seats 

Overall condition: very good 

Other Info: as stated above i literally picked it up 2 weeks ago and driven less than 100kms since purchase. been busy so i've only just transferred it under my name today. before i start, this car is a GREEN PLATED PERSONAL IMPORT.
i'm thinking of either selling or swapping her since there will be a change in career soon therefore its just not very practical. there were some plans for it and even move onto track days later on but it probably will never see any of this whilst being under my ownership so i've decided it should go to someone who will put it to better use than i will.

Price: let me know what you have for swaps otherwise i'll be looking around the 15k mark

    Can you explain what a 'Green plated personal import' is exactly please? I haven't heard of that specification. Is it a thing for VIC only or more a customs clearance/ADR requirement?
     
    and here's the $10,000 question, why buy a car only to own it for 2 weeks and then want to sell it?

    Green plates are "for vehicles produced in low volume"
    Just type in 'green plate imports' in google. Afaik its a compliance plate for a small number of cars let into the country before they changed the importing rules to only allow mainly pre 89 cars but other cars too ofcourse.

    If you read carefully i'm changing careers. This wasnt something i had planned but the cars not gonna be very useful driving loads of stock around.

    I honestly dont want to sell cos it is rare to find a jap import thats manual but if i need to for work i dont mind swapping it too for something more practical.

    I thought personal imports had a yellow plate? My first MR2 had a yellow plate.
    Green is just a regular low volume import

    My apologies.. I may have been wrong.

    Theres a few arent there? Red, blue, green and yellow plates?

    Either way, its a genuine manual not a sequential manual.
