st205 cooler on a rev2 3sgte gen2 mr2

Hi, need some help as I'm not too sure on how the st205 cooler will fit on the gen 2 3sgte throttle body inlet.
Some of the options I have found are
1. Use a ATS racing throttle body and cut it down to 1 inch and use a 2.5" to 3" silicone reducer
2. Use a st205 throttle body inlet
3. Use the old inlet and grind the tab off and cut it down to 1inch
 
Is there any other options? I can do option 1 but seems to be a waste to hack at it.
Would the throttle body inlet be alright without a bead after I cut it?
