Caldina powered sw20 !

Hey guys im still new to the forum and all but yeah just wanna show you guys a few pics of the finished product.
I got the motor for $900 with engine harness and manual ecu. The motor was cheap because the turbo housing broke when they delivered the motor and dropped it ! Luckily only the turbo and sump was damaged.
Took my brother and I 3 weeks to finish the whole thing. The motor swap isn't worth bragging about but the wiring was insane to do. I went around asking a few places that specializes in wiring and they all asked for minimum $1000, so we decided to do it our selves. In the end the car started first go and it was all worth while. My previous motor was a gen 2 GTE, the difference is huge ! Heaps more torque heaps more power and alot faster !

Any how if anyone is interested in this conversion I'm more than happy to help.

Wow that would be awesome, I always wondered what the Caldina motor would be like in a lighter chassis like the SW20, and no doubt how it would go as a manual too haha.

Very impressive work. Can't wait to see pics.

All you need to do is upload to imageshack and grab what is called the "DIRECT LINK"

Then paste the direct link inbetween this code

    [*IMG]  DIRECT LINK [/IMG]

Before you post the pic, delete the * that I put in front of the text IMG

Welcome once again, everyone is great here.

Awesome, I didn't expect to be the first with this plan, but i'm glad it all worked out well, I should notice a fair power jump as mine is going in, in place of an n/a 3S-GE. After 2 day cooling off period (just signed up) i'll message you about some electrical intel...

So what's wrong with uploading using the forum? I've never had an issue.
Please let me know which browser and version you are using.
    Thanks

She's in and going hard, for sale though as i can't afford another sports car. Unreg and not yet Engineered $8000 slightly negotiable. Funds are going toward my S5 FC, Yes a 20B conversion! (not a re-build)

Whoa this would be an awesome package, if only I was on my fulls :(
GL with 20B conversion, gotta love the smoothness :D!

@Admin - Nothing wrong with the forum pic uploader it's just faster sometimes to post on imageshack cos with the forum you have to resize the images using another program, but I've done it in the past I'm just lazy sometimes...
