alpine type S 4" Speakers for rear.
Hey Everyone,
I want to finish my speaker install and want to do it with as least fuss as possible.
Does the Type S 4" fit in without needing a bracket / modification?
any reccomendations on where to get them cheap in melb? Currently the best price I have is $88 delivered (I'm lazy and busy).
thanks in advance,
H.

oh :( i ended up doing the ghetto install - didn't get type S's tho - got ones that have mounting holes instead of a channel like the type S. I ended up zip tying them to the chassy - works really well :)

You will need to make a new bracket to get them to fit. I used 6mm MDF, but I'm sure 3mm would work as well. Also, you will need longer bolts.
My bracket ended up looking like this. The notch out of the top was to avoid the rear window panel plastic.
