Group buy for roll centre adjusters

I have had trouble trying to source RCA's so have decided to have some fabricated.
Im using my existing RCA's as the template. These have camber offset but are only 13mm thick. The optimum is 32mm each RCA which is what I will be ordering. I will also be adding another camber option whihc makes a total of three setting to work with. These are recommended for 17" wheels.
Price will be approx $250 for a minimum of 5 sets. Delivery is extra($15)
I plan to place the order on the 1st of August.

Cheers

Apologies, thought you were after the standard RCA's which are all sold - had a look lastnight and I have a few sets of the 25mm camber offset version left, PM if interested.

Interested, did anyone use these before and see a reduction in bump steer?

These RCA's transform MR2's into a weapon. One of the best thing's that you can do to these car's.
I will not even take my car near the track without the correct set up. With out RAC's you will never have a base to find it

Are there any drawbacks with these? Always seems to be trade offs so Im wondering what it is with these.

so no more 25mm standard sets available..any plans on doing some?
Anyone have a definitive improvement with these without relocating the tie rod mounting point..?

the camber offset version can be used in a standard (non camber offset) position also. I only have these for the front remaining, 25mm thickness and two position 0mm & 25mm offset.

In terms of doing another run, I spoke to B24 this morning and if there is enough interest than perhaps we can do some more soon. In the longer term a friend of mine in Germany has got some quotes that are a lot cheaper than what they cost to make here plus the demand there is much higher so larger numbers can be produced meaning an even lower unit cost.

I have been using these for a while without the tie rod adjustment (although at some stage I will do this) and yes I think there is an improvement. The only drawback of using them on the rear is a minimum of 16" rims needed to clear the ball joint.

^^ thanks for the info, be interested in a set. Seems the '91 rears adapt to the RCA's without the same degree of toe issues of the '93's. Front is a different matter..worth checking these rod ends anyone interested. (need to scroll down)

okay, forgive me for not being very familiar with this, im not sure what the 25mm camber offset is for, but am i right in assuming the 32mm thick RCA with 0mm camber is what im after i only want to eliminate bump steer from my lowered sw20?

I've already had my say on these, and will probably start WW3 once more if I say anymore. All I can say is make sure they will make you're car better and not worse. If you've got the car dropped on its nuts they will improve bumpsteer. If its dropped only a couple of inch or less they'll make your bump steer worse if not used in conjuction with adjustable tie rod ends.

I know people who removed these from their car because as it increased bump steer. They don't have the car lowered on its arse though. Physics says they'll make it worse under some conditions, whereas, under other conditions, it'll make an improvement. All bump steer is is toe out under suspension compression. Due to the MR2's setup this will occur when the the control arms rise up from horizontal with their crossmember mounting. Therefore, if your car is lowered to the extend where it will see the control arm rising up from horizontal under suspension compression, get a set, they will likely have some positive affect on handling.

Get them when your suspension doesn't undergo this movement under compression and all you'll do is increase bumpsteer by modifying the arc that the hub follows compared to the rear 'traction rod' or trailing arm/tie rod/whatever you may want to call it, which will in affect induce toe out.

There are off the shelf front adjustable tie rod ends for the MR2. I recommend under all circumstances to use these in conjuction with the roll centre adjusters to make the most of them.

On the rear without custom fabrication you don't have alot of choice, and often its better to just leave it be.

Evo65m has had both his front and rear tie rods adjusted to suit so he has seen large benefits.
