Installing Seatbelts

The seatbelts in my 1990 JDM are a little loose so I've decided to replace them. However the there is a locking nut which I can't reach as it's behind a guard(of sorts). Below is a pic of where the locking nut is hiding. I suspect that the seatbelts have been replaced before so I assume there is tool or someway to get to the locking nut without bending the guard out of the way.

Anyone know how to get the bolt and locking nut off?

Thanks

The spanner (I have) with a head on it big enough to fit on the locking nut is too long to fit in the gap at the required angle. I didn't think of trying to find a shorter one (not that I would have called the one I have long....).

    Thanks

Just use a stubby spanner as that should be sufficient to fit the nut.

Give me call as I may have the tools to do it

    Cheers
