Steering wheel help?
Hey Everyone So my car already has a aftermarket steering wheel on it and in my efforts to remove the allen key bolts so i could take it off and replace it i kinda screwed them all up [}:)]so i ended up just buying a whole new boss kit, but ive run into another problem, ive managed to remove the main bolt that from the original boss on the car but can not remove the boss kit at all ive tried pulling the crap out of it but it wont budge, now either im doing something wrong or me and all my freinds are extremly weak lol
can any one offer any advice?
much appreciated

Rebolt the steering wheel and pull while rocking the wheel back and forth (you'll get more leverage)...
Put the main nut for the boss kit back on a few threads or you'll smack yourself in the face with the wheel xD
If you've got everything unbolted properly, it should come off easily :)

yep, mine was stuck on tight too. make sure you dont take it all the way off, best advise i was given as the wheel would've hit me in the face haha
just grab both sides and rock side to side if you know what i mean, pull harder and harder and see how you go. i guess you could get extreme and use a mallet on one side of the wheel and whack it ;)

A steering wheel puller would be the best way. Otherwise, loosen the nut so its flush with the end of the shaft, the tap the nut/shaft with a mallet, this usually frees the wheel. This method is not always recommended with collapsible steering columns though, but sometimes a gentle tap on the shaft is enough to pop it off.
Cheers

I have had this happen countless times, I had one wheel on soooo tight that I got my mate to sit in the passenger seat as we both grabbed a side with both hands and rocked the wheel back and forth. Keep that nut on though, a steering wheel to the face is brutal
