Throttle cables

for all those folk who have allowed the cable to be melted by the turbo, or where the cable is frayed, we can now have reco exchange throttle cables .
Prices are GT4 $165 (new inner & outer) & SW20 MR2 (new inner only) $99, SW20 MR2 $165 (new inner & outer). All prices include GST and are plus post.
If your tried to buy them from Toyota, you'll understand reconditioning them is sensible.
The exchange is subject to inspection of the end fittings on your cable. Provided the firweall mounting plate and engine end "adjusting screw" are OK, then we can exchange your cable for the above prices
thanks

    Hi there,
What is the exact procedure for a reco throttle cable? I have a gen2 turbo sw20 with a frayed inner cable. (TB end)
Do i remove it, then send it to you. Then you send one back after i pay?
Or can I pay for one, you send it, then i swap it out and return my old one?
    Cheers,

you will have to send me your old one first. I've stopped sending them out beforehand as I never get the old ones back, and now I dont have any spares

cheapest/easiest shipping is by post for something so small. getting the cable out will require you to jack up the car and disconnect it from its various clips. refitment is just the reverse. nothing hard, just time consuming . send me your old one and its replacment is on the way in a day or so.
    thanks
