Suspension rebuilt

Hi,
Just wondering if the following Bilstein's from a 1992 model sw20 can be rebuilt/reconditioned? I already have the springs so just the overall strut. (Has approximately 113,000 km's)

If so can i please attain a quote inc shipping back down to Melbourne? Many thanks for your assistance!

I called Bilstein's office here in Sydney inquiring about my own shocks (damn squeaky) and they stated for the pre 1993 model SW20, shocks are not rebuildable.

I'd recommend getting Koni adjustable inserts, had them on my previous SW20 and they were great.

Cheers for that DVS. Yeah, my options were either to rebuilt or just recondition with new shocks (konis).

I'm assuming with the 92' suspension, shocks can be inserted?

you really cant assume anything as so many of these cars have been changed around. you have to remove the dust boot and look to see if they have a welded top or a gland nut

You're probably right even with shipping, but no good to you unless you have the gland nut type strut.

WHORE OF BABYLON if you want to promote a US vendor that does not pay to support this forum like we do, then please do it someplace else. this is our section that we pay for, to promote our business.
