1990 GT Turbo Heater core

Hello all

I have a suspected heater core problem, and wonder if anyone out there has one in working order to match a 90 model 3SGTE?  Any other thoughts or advise much appreciated.  From what I understand its a pain of a job, and no BGB mention of it.

Cheers

Josh (MRMR2) is a wrecker, will have several.
I haven't worked on the heater unit but I think it might be accessed through the dash. If so, then while you have the dash off there are some other jobs that can be done such as replacing the stock boost gauge, replacing the instrumentation lights with LEDs...if not done already.

What do I need to get to replace dash lights with LED's?

I remember a thread somewhere that explained how to do it. I got my LEDs from
https://www.superbrightleds.com/cat/miniature-wedge-base/filter/Base_Type,Miniature_Wedge,1,3995: and they were pretty much plug straight in.
I have very slight dull spots around 10 o'clock and 2 o'clock on both speedo and tacho. Still better than the stock
lighting. Doubt anyone would notice the dull spots if you didn't point it out, which my son does. He was 17 when he put the LEDs in.
