Speedo transducer wanted SW20, or relevant info

Hi guys,
 
So my mechanical speedo is playing up on my 90 SW20, seems the speedo transducer (I think thats what its called) is seizing up. If anybody has one that'd be great, but even if you had any extra info ie where to source one or what other models might have the same part, that would really be appreciated. I'm guessing it may be the same part no as something like an early rav4 or camry or something like that. Gen 2 3sgte & e153 if thats relevant.

It's often the 90 degree gearbox thingo that seizes causing the nylon worm drive inside to strip.
Need to separate cable etc to identify which component is at fault before ordering parts.

My mechanic called it a speedo transducer & described it exactly as you say: the 90 degree bit with nylon drive. I was hoping it might be the same part as used on a more common Toyota model because I haven't been able to find anything specifically for my car.
 
Edit: I think I understand what youre saying now: Am I correct in assuming you meant that the transducer thing is made up of a few different part numbers, which can be purchased seperately? That seems to be what Im finding. Yep. You're onto it now. Long time since I've seen one but there will be the part that protrudes inside the gearbox and it's nylon gear meshes with a large nylon gear attached to the diff. The angle drive part then inserts into that bit and when the angle drive buggers up it can cause the stuff inside on the diff to chew itself up. 
 Fault is often in the angle drive.

Gotcha, I think thats steered me in the right direction, much appreciated. I might wait & see if anybody has those bits. If not I'll probably take my chances & order the gearbox speedo drive assemblies which come out to around $50 all together.
