Dash light wiring

Dash lights arent working, fuses are good, dimmer is set in the middle. The cluster has been fitted with leds and seems to have extra wiring in the pic below. Is this factory?? Being new to mr2s I'm unsure if these extra wires attached to the rear of the cluster are factory.
The green light around the key is working if that helps at all
