Help with leaky AW11 T-Top

Hey everyone, It has been a wet couple of weeks and i've discovered my T-Top seal is leaking on both passenger and drivers side in the corners where the top joins with the door and body/windshield.

It has been previously 'repaired' by the previous owner as you can see plenty of additional silicone around the front and top of the seals. I was wondering if anybody knew any tips to get it to seal without necessarily buying new seals altogether. I have been reading online and saw the tip about using electrical tape, but cannot for the life of me get anything to adhere to the seals.

Does anyone have any products they swear by as a stop gap before I buy new seals?

Thanks for the help.

I've used these with my AW11 in the past.
