NSW MR2 Owners Club February Event: Hunter Valley Go-Karts
Hi All,
Big thanks to our members for such a great start to the new year with our events to date. This time the MR2 club of NSW is going racing……. in Go-Karts. Time to brush up on those skills and fine tune that racing line as we’re going to Go-Karts-Go Hunter Valley. This track boasts a whopping 850m of track and has an awesome elevation changes throughout! This track is a little out of the way but very much worth the drive and a great excuse to catch up with our ever-growing Newcastle members.
We’ll do 2 x 15-minute runs and it’ll be $50 for the package + $5 for your license if you haven’t been there before or its been more than 12 months since your last visit. You can pay via cash or eftpos. While we pride ourselves on having the fastest drivers in NSW we understand that some members prefer to be with a slower group and if there’s enough interest I’m sure we can make a third smaller session for you guys.
We’ll also grab lunch at the Neath hotel which is a quaint pub with your typical pub lunch menu and its less than 3min from the track.
The plan details are below but Sydney members will meet at Rofe Park at 9am for a 9:30am departure and then drive up the M1 to the location where we will rendezvous with the Newcastle members around 11am and get on track at 11:30am. From there its lunch at the Neath hotel at 2pm. We can do group photos at the track and the lunch location.

Our current booking is for 9 people but the track has advised they can take anything up to 30 so if you have some friends who want an excuse to go racing or were thinking about joining the club. Now is the perfect opportunity! Hope to see you all there.
