ABS Error Code Check

Hey all, my ABS light has come on in the past week and just stayed on. I've attempted at stephenmanson's ABS Error Code Check guide () however when I connect Tc and E1 terminals with a paper clip nothing changes? Apparently my dash was supposedly to have all the lights come on, but it remains the exact same as when my ignition is flicked to ON. Is it possible that my diagnostic box has just somehow destroyed itself? Thanks in advance

IIRC, there's a plug that you have to temporarily disconnect in the frunk during the process.
Do a bit more googling and look at a few forums and you'll see what I mean.

There is an extensive build thread for my car here: http://www.mr2australia.com/mr2play/tm.aspx?m=18316

Yea I've done that already, disconnecting the service connector in the front before shorting the TC and E1 terminals, however I'm just not getting any response at all.
