15" OEM REAR FOR SW20

Hi,

Just found out I have a flat spot on one of my rear wheels.

Anyone got just 1 that they would like to part with?

Cheers

If it's just the rim, you can get it re rolled for around $50. Or are you referring to a flat spot on your rear tire?

    On the rim.
I'll google wheel repairs around the area.  Thanks.

Just got new tyres & he showed me a video of it on one of the machines.  guessing it was the balancing machine.  the whole when had quite a wobble.

emailed "The Wheel man".  He got back to me really quick.  Pick up & deliver would be $225.00
Or go to their Tempe shop & have repaired for $165.

Have also emailed another shop close to home.

Otherwise I hope someone has one that they will sell me.

Rather than pay those prices maybe best to wait until until one becomes available.
You might pick up a whole set for that money, and you could maybe sell the ones you don't need.

Also, I can totally understand why you wouldn't want to sell your MR2, because I feel exactly the same way about mine.

Someone in ACT had a set available for $200, but then have to add freight.  And then try to sell the rest.
So had another google for repairers around Newy.

Yay, found someone who was open today, so went for a drive.  He said he should be able to fix it on Monday for $100 - $120.  The other places I'd read about needed me to take it somewhere to have the tyre removed & they picked up from there, then delivered back the next day.  This guy has all the machines/tools he needs. No need to take somewhere else to take tyre off, etc. He does it all including re-balance.

And MR2 is his 2nd fave car.

He has a Skyline, but I'll forgive him for that. Lol
(should remember to talk to him about maybe coming to track in October)
